POSITION OVERVIEW

The Chief People Officer will be instrumental in shaping and enhancing the employee experience at AEG. This role involves collaborating with senior management to provide strategic guidance on various aspects of organizational effectiveness and performance.

In this position, you will lead and manage all Human Resources (HR) functions, including compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and performance management. You will also develop HR policies and procedures that comply with relevant regulations and work closely with Finance to manage payroll and vendor relationships.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


PEOPLE AND CULTURE
  • Act as the primary HR resource for the organization, focusing on employee satisfaction, talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and training.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive workplace culture that supports team member success.
  • Advocate for team members, ensuring their perspectives are considered in business decisions.
  • Design and execute employee recognition programs and events.
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding and offboarding.
STRATEGIC PLANNING & COMPLIANCE
  • Work with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives using relevant metrics.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and minimize organizational risks.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Monitor changes in HR regulations and recommend adjustments to policies.
  • Manage employee benefits programs in collaboration with external partners.
  • Review and update the Employee Handbook annually.
  • Assist in employee investigations and disciplinary actions.
TALENT ATTRACTION & RETENTION
  • Implement inclusive hiring practices to attract diverse talent.
  • Develop strategies to build a talent pipeline that supports organizational growth.
  • Facilitate employee development programs to prepare team members for advancement.
  • Support performance management processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with leaders to address workplace challenges while maintaining a positive environment.
  • Conduct employee feedback sessions to enhance workplace culture.
  • Supervise HR team members as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a growth-oriented environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., A-PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) are highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Experience with payroll processes is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
