Position Overview:

Become a vital part of the Archdiocese of San Antonio by joining our team as a Security Monitor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding the well-being of children in need. Your responsibilities will include overseeing surveillance footage, performing regular inspections, and ensuring a secure environment for all individuals present. Your keen observation skills and meticulous nature will be essential in recognizing potential hazards and irregularities in daily operations. Collaborating closely with program management, you will help to minimize risks and maintain a safe atmosphere for everyone involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review surveillance footage on a daily basis
  • Perform inspections of program facilities
  • Support incident response efforts
  • Generate reports from security checkpoint systems
  • Record shift activities
  • Conduct thorough checks of windows and doors
  • Follow established safety protocols
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Comply with the Code of Conduct and organizational values
  • Encourage teamwork and dedication to the mission of the organization
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of experience in a child welfare environment
  • Access to reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations

Compensation: $19.91 per hour
