As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping employee development and ensuring operational excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Content Development & Delivery: Contribute to the creation and delivery of engaging training materials tailored to meet the evolving needs of our workforce. This includes new hire orientation, retraining programs for existing staff, implementation of innovative training initiatives, and updates to current processes.
  • Instructional Design & Materials: Oversee the production and distribution of high-quality training resources such as handouts, instructional aids, manuals, and presentations.
  • Training Facilitation: Conduct new hire orientation sessions and deliver specialized training courses for customers or specific job roles. Your ability to simplify complex concepts and foster a positive learning environment will be crucial.
  • Performance Improvement & Record Keeping: Design and implement training programs that enhance employee performance and align with organizational goals. Maintain accurate training records within our learning management system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in initiatives to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our corporate training program.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications utility industry is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Trainer.
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills are required.
  • Current or ability to obtain OSHA 500 certification (Five years of construction safety experience, or three years of experience and one of the following: College degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
