Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, Entry-Level Bilingual (Spanish/English) HR Coordinator to support timekeeping and various HR functions. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor combined with keen perception and discipline. Effective communication with employees to provide accurate information is essential, along with a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and orient all new and current team members.
  • Ensure new hires comprehend protocols and processes prior to their departmental assignment.
  • Verify that new hire profiles and timesheets accurately reflect the correct department.
  • Conduct biometric data collection for all new hires and ensure active employees are functioning correctly.
  • Monitor absenteeism and tardiness to uphold compliance with attendance policies and disciplinary measures.
  • Distribute daily absence reports consistently.
  • Record all call-ins in the UKG system on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with managers to rectify any missing time punches from the previous day.
  • Ensure employee schedules are accurate and adhered to.
  • Adjust schedules based on manager approvals when employees work outside their assigned hours.
  • Track daily attendance for perfect attendance bonuses.
  • Manage time-off requests and document them in UKG.
  • Upload all disciplinary actions and training records to employee profiles in UKG.
  • Assist with incident or accident reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date records for FMLA, Workers' Compensation, etc., on timesheets.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure timely execution of HR policies.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Uphold compliance with company policies and core values.
  • Assist in coordinating benefits enrollment.
  • Support and participate in safety programs and initiatives.
  • Address all employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Help organize company events.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proficient in timekeeping processes.
  • Strong active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency required: Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and safety regulations.
  • Flexible morning availability.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a flexible morning schedule.
