Position Overview: The Human Resources Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture and driving HR initiatives across multiple locations. This leadership position requires a strategic partner who will work closely with senior management to develop and implement effective human resource policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Strategy: Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to talent management.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of the HR and administrative teams, ensuring efficiency and consistency in processes.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Stay informed on employment laws and regulations, ensuring the organization adheres to all legal requirements while implementing best practices in HR management.
  • Talent Management: Lead initiatives related to recruitment, retention, and employee development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, to maintain a positive workplace environment.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in human resource management is essential.
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are highly desirable.
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is advantageous.
