Key Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
The EVP of Human Resources is accountable for formulating and implementing human resource strategies that align with the overall business objectives and strategic direction of the organization. This role focuses on Employee Relations, Internal Communications, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and comprehensive HR strategic planning. The EVP, HR provides strategic direction by communicating HR requirements and plans to the Chief People Officer and the executive management team. At Generali Global Assistance, we cultivate a culture of ethics and integrity, emphasizing accountability for a robust control environment while ensuring compliance with regulations and mandatory training for our employees.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of HR experience, including a minimum of 5 years in an executive HR role.
- Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities; a metrics-driven mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations at local, state, and national levels, particularly California employment law.
- Collaborative approach to engaging with internal stakeholders and experience in managing external vendors.
- A team-oriented individual who approaches challenges with urgency.
- Exceptional customer service skills with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven supervisory and leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with various human resources information systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as necessary.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field
- SHRM or HRCI certification
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 25%
Compensation: Pay Range: $190,000 - $220,000
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position, allowing for a combination of onsite and remote work.
Work Schedule:
This role generally follows a Monday to Friday schedule during standard business hours, with occasional overtime as required by business needs.
