Key Responsibilities

The Product Quality Systems Specialist will oversee the weekly Product Quality Review Board (PQRB) meetings, addressing all escalated SQDIPE/Warranty/NCR action items and evaluating potential Engineering Change Notice (ECN) proposals.

Core Duties:

As the PQRB facilitator, the Specialist will:

  • Assign accountable parties to action items and timelines, ensuring that all potential risks are identified and appropriate mitigation strategies are implemented.
  • Compile and submit the Monthly Cost of Quality report items for entry into the system. Conduct thorough reviews of ECN proposals for risk assessment, considering business impact, execution timelines, and necessary adjustments to existing procedures or training requirements.
  • Ensure that for approved ECNs, all distribution and operational actions are executed by the designated parties.
  • Manage the Nonconformance system, coordinating inputs and outputs effectively. Conduct monthly strategic reviews of PQRB progress to analyze trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and action items that may require further escalation due to resource needs or business demands.
  • Generate a Quarterly Executive Summary for the management team, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Publish bi-weekly updates on PQRB activities to the management team, distributing relevant information to a broader audience as necessary.
  • Provide monthly reports on Global QHSE defined KPIs and any locally agreed metrics to meet business needs. Undertake other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in product quality management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and diagrams is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
