Key Responsibilities

The Product Quality Systems Specialist will lead a weekly Product Quality Review Board (PQRB) meeting to address all escalated SQDIPE/Warranty/NCR action items and evaluate potential Engineering Change Notice (ECN) proposals.

Core Duties:

As the PQRB facilitator, the Specialist will:

  • Assign action items and timelines to accountable parties to ensure all potential risks are identified and mitigation strategies are executed.
  • Compile and submit Monthly Cost of Quality report items for entry into the designated system. Conduct reviews of Engineering Change Notice (ECN) proposals for Risk Assessment, considering their impact on the business, execution timelines, and implications for existing procedures or training requirements.
  • Ensure that for approved ECNs, all distribution and operational actions by responsible parties are completed effectively.
  • Oversee the Nonconformance system and coordinate its inputs and outputs. Conduct a monthly strategic PQRB progress review to analyze trends, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and action items that may require further escalation due to resource needs or business demands.
  • Generate a Quarterly Executive Summary for the management team to ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Publish a bi-weekly update on PQRB activities to the management team, distributing it to a broader audience as appropriate.
  • Provide a monthly report on Global QHSE defined KPIs and any locally agreed metrics to meet business needs. Undertake other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience in product quality is preferred.
  • Familiarity with blueprints and diagrams is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
