Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Endoscopy Department. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff to provide exceptional patient care and service.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Kaiser Permanente's standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to design and facilitate workflow processes that promote efficient and effective care.
  • Advocate for patients, clinicians, and staff to ensure their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
  • Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluating process to ensure the department has the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the department's performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Kaiser Permanente's policies, and professional ethics.
Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years (Critical Care positions)
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) required at hire.
  • Previous experience in mentoring and coaching clinical staff.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, time, and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrates commitment to customer-focused care.
