Assesses and prioritizes staffing requirements daily, working closely with management to address any challenges. Collaborates with physician leadership to design and streamline workflow processes. Aids in developing departmental policies and procedures, serving as a mentor and coach for team members regarding patient care and workflow issues. - Ethical and Legal Standards: Models ethical behavior in all professional interactions, demonstrating accountability for personal actions and understanding Kaiser Permanente's policies and legal considerations.
- Clinical Expertise: Provides nursing leadership and expertise to support the healthcare team in meeting patient needs. Engages in population-based care activities and maintains a safe environment for all.
- Organizational Leadership: Demonstrates knowledge of national and regional initiatives at the local level, applying principles of Labor-Management Partnership.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of RN experience in acute or ambulatory care within the last five years, including critical care positions and leadership roles.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a high school diploma or GED.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current Registered Nurse License in the state of practice, along with Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications.
- Moderate Sedation Competency within six months of hire.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in mentoring clinical staff and providing critical care.
- Certification in CPAN or CAPA is a plus.
