  • Ethical and Legal Standards: Models ethical behavior in all professional interactions, demonstrating accountability for personal actions and understanding Kaiser Permanente's policies and legal considerations.
  • Clinical Expertise: Provides nursing leadership and expertise to support the healthcare team in meeting patient needs. Engages in population-based care activities and maintains a safe environment for all.
  • Organizational Leadership: Demonstrates knowledge of national and regional initiatives at the local level, applying principles of Labor-Management Partnership.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of RN experience in acute or ambulatory care within the last five years, including critical care positions and leadership roles.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current Registered Nurse License in the state of practice, along with Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support certifications.
Additional Requirements:
  • Moderate Sedation Competency within six months of hire.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in mentoring clinical staff and providing critical care.
  • Certification in CPAN or CAPA is a plus.
