Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Business Partner for Talent Development to join our team. In this role, you will partner with leaders and their leadership teams to develop and implement people and culture strategies that drive business results.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution, while modeling our values and leadership principles to support our organizational culture.
You will develop a deep understanding of the business to guide and influence leaders on their talent agenda, creating well-thought-out change management and communication plans that demonstrate end-to-end thinking.
Key responsibilities include applying expertise in organizational design, strategic HR management, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, change management, career planning, coaching, analysis of people data, total rewards, learning and development, and recognition programs.
Requirements- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of HR experience creating measurable impact on a major business unit (preferably in a high-growth company) with at least 5 years of experience as a People Business Partner (preferably supporting C-suite leadership managing G&A functions).
- Experience managing change and communications related to organizational design.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Senior Leadership (i.e., Vice President level).
- Solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business.
- Ability to solve challenges and get to the root cause of any issue, designing and quickly implementing solutions that may cut across multiple disciplines.
- Influencing, decision-making, driving change, etc.
- Self-motivated and assertive with the ability to hunt down answers and drive solutions autonomously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be an articulate and persuasive communicator.
The estimated annual salary for this full-time position based in Palo Alto, CA, is $143,450.
This role requires in-office attendance three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). Guardant Health offers a hybrid work model that balances flexibility with collaboration and connection among team members.
