Your Responsibilities

Sales Management
The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and nurturing high-quality clients within the designated territory. Achieving or surpassing set sales targets is essential, necessitating the development of strategic action plans to pinpoint potential customers and markets. This role involves direct engagement with clients, focusing on expanding the customer base through proactive outreach and follow-ups on leads and referrals.

Key tasks include:

  • Preparing and delivering quotes, proposals, and pricing structures.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality assurance and follow-up communications.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the company's reputation through adherence to core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
  • Creating and presenting sales materials during industry events and promotional activities.

Professional Development
The Sales Engineer is expected to continually enhance their knowledge of products and sales strategies through educational opportunities, networking, and participation in professional organizations.

Reporting
Regular reporting on sales activities, lost orders, and performance metrics is required. This includes providing insights on market trends and competitive analysis.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A four-year degree in engineering, business, or marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct sales or customer service experience, preferably in industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proven analytical abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
