- In your role as a Storage Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate with a global team to oversee the lifecycle management of block and data protection solutions for enterprise-scale implementations.
- Your responsibilities will encompass installation, maintenance, upgrades, technology refreshes, and migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist business partners in achieving their objectives by comprehensively understanding their storage needs and delivering suitable solutions across both external and internal cloud environments.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in enterprise storage, backup management, and disaster recovery.
- 3 to 5 years of expertise with Pure Storage Flash Array and block storage technologies.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with Rubrik r6000 series data protection solutions.
- 3 to 5 years of familiarity with Brocade G series fabric switch technologies.
- Proficient in operating systems, including Linux and Windows, as well as network components.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new products and solutions effectively.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute upgrades of storage product components, including software, hardware, and code enhancements.
- Possess a solid understanding of infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery strategies.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Exhibit a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with hypervisors and various operating systems.
- Experience with additional storage solutions from Dell, Hitachi, and NetApp is advantageous but not required.
