Care to Stay Home is in search of a compassionate and skilled Lead Caregiver (CNA) to become a vital part of our team, delivering outstanding in-home care services to clients in Northern Idaho. Key responsibilities will include training new caregivers, facilitating caregiver/client introductions, assisting care management with evaluations and care plan assessments, and participating in networking and marketing events.


Work Schedule: Full-time, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The typical schedule will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, five days a week, with occasional weekend shifts as needed. This role will be based in our Post Falls office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill in for caregivers during the week when they are unavailable
  • Support the training of new caregivers
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
  • Provide emotional support to clients and their families
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times
  • Maintain a tidy and organized environment for clients
  • Conduct introductions between clients and caregivers
  • Assist care management with client and caregiver evaluations
  • Foster relationships by visiting referral partners

Qualifications:

  • CNA certification or higher with a minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
