Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer to take on the role of Senior Project Leader. This position is integral to our mission at Jub LLC, which is to enhance community development through collaborative efforts. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the design and management of electrical systems for municipal and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct project planning, timeline management, and budget forecasting.
- Execute electrical system analysis including short circuit, load flow, and relay coordination assessments.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, layout drawings, and cable schedules.
- Engage with contractors, clients, and facility managers to ensure project alignment.
- Interpret and analyze control system and construction documentation.
- Draft equipment and construction specifications.
- Provide on-site evaluations, electrical assessments, and construction oversight.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines within the firm.
- Lead initiatives for business development and prepare proposals for engineering services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is advantageous.
- Licensed Professional Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of post-licensure experience.
- Proficient in design, construction oversight, startup, and commissioning processes.
- Strong understanding of electrical power system modeling tools; familiarity with ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical construction methodologies.
- Ability to source technical information to inform design decisions.
- Skilled in conveying technical concepts to clients effectively.
- High standards for quality, thoroughness, and accuracy in documentation.
- Capable of reviewing and validating both personal and team outputs.
