  • Coordinate and execute patient transportation schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transportation experiences.
  • Monitor and maintain vehicle fleets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Life Care standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address transportation-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and family inquiries, and resolving transportation-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, laws, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license or commercial driver's license (CDL) in current state, as applicable, with a satisfactory driving record.
  • CDL required.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or geriatrics preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Safely load, transport, and unload patients.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients.
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
  • Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
