Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute patient transportation services, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transportation experiences.
- Monitor and maintain vehicle fleets, ensuring regular maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Make informed decisions in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, laws, and regulations governing patient transportation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and interpret transportation policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Life Care's Code of Conduct and complete mandatory training programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in healthcare or geriatrics preferred.
- Valid driver's license or commercial driver's license (CDL) in current state, with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move intermittently during working hours.
