  • Monitor and maintain vehicle fleets, ensuring regular maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Make informed decisions in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, laws, and regulations governing patient transportation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and interpret transportation policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Life Care's Code of Conduct and complete mandatory training programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in healthcare or geriatrics preferred.
  • Valid driver's license or commercial driver's license (CDL) in current state, with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move intermittently during working hours.
