Our Vascular Surgery Clinic is in search of a motivated LPN with a keen eye for detail to become a vital part of our healthcare team. This role involves providing direct patient care under the guidance of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator, assisting in various clinical functions across all providers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately measure and record patient vital signs.
  • Document essential components of patient medical history.
  • Engage in open and professional communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assist in in-office procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
  • Conduct diagnostic CLIA waived testing.
  • Perform venipuncture for laboratory blood testing.
  • Manage prescription call-backs within the scope of practice.
  • Prepare patient charts with relevant clinical information.
  • Maintain supply inventory and ensure patient examination rooms are adequately stocked.

Compliance and Qualifications:

Adhere to Albany Medical Center's regulatory compliance standards. Candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A current NYS license as a licensed practical nurse.
  • Preferred prior experience in a patient care environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • The capability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from physicians, patients, and their families or colleagues.

Compensation:

$23.00/hr - $28.76/hr
