Job Overview

Evolver Federal is in search of a Deputy Refugee Processing Business Manager to fulfill a critical role for a prospective government client.


Key Responsibilities

The Deputy Refugee Processing Business Manager will collaborate closely with the Refugee Processing Manager to advance the overarching objectives of both overseas and domestic US Refugee Admissions Programs. The responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are consistent with the policies and business regulations of the government client while overseeing refugee case processing operations.
  • Partnering with Data Analytics and software Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to pinpoint efficiencies and automation opportunities that enhance case processing productivity.
  • Assisting in the management of training, change management, and business analysts who facilitate casework globally in line with policy and system processing requirements.
  • Evaluating and interpreting reports, records, and directives to provide insights to supervisors regarding the data necessary for planning refugee operations.
  • Coordinating refugee operations with the START software team, conducting user acceptance testing, systems design, and prototype evaluations to incorporate user perspectives in the development of the START system.
  • Contributing to the assessment of current system procedures and practices, establishing standards that align with quality control and configuration management initiatives.
  • Utilizing knowledge of refugee case processing data to inform policy decisions and manage the case processing pipeline effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Active Secret Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Application Processing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience collaborating with Data Analytics and software SMEs to identify efficiencies and automations that enhance productivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in preparing management, business, and technical reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in refugee processing from agencies such as DHS, Department of State/PRM, or similar organizations is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
