Job Overview

Evolver Federal is in search of an Assistant Manager for Refugee Processing Operations to fulfill a critical role for a prospective government client.


Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the Refugee Processing Manager to advance the overarching objectives of both international and domestic US Refugee Admissions Programs. The responsibilities will encompass:

  • Ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are consistent with the policies and operational guidelines of the government client while overseeing refugee case processing activities.
  • Partnering with Data Analytics teams and software subject matter experts to pinpoint efficiencies and automation opportunities that enhance case processing productivity.
  • Assisting in the management of training initiatives, change management processes, and business analysts who facilitate casework globally in accordance with policy and system processing mandates.
  • Conducting thorough reviews and analyses of reports, records, and directives to provide supervisory feedback on the data necessary for strategic planning of refugee operations.
  • Coordinating refugee operations with the START software development team, engaging in user acceptance testing, systems design, and prototype evaluations to ensure user-centric development.
  • Contributing to the assessment of existing procedures and practices, establishing benchmarks that align with quality assurance and configuration management protocols.
  • Interpreting refugee case processing data to inform policy decisions and manage the case processing workflow effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Active Secret Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a comparable combination of education, technical training, or professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a management role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Application Processing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience collaborating with Data Analytics and software SMEs to identify and implement productivity enhancements.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in creating management, business, and technical reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in refugee processing from agencies such as DHS, Department of State/PRM, or related USRAP partner organizations is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
