Role Summary:
The Regional Sales Executive is tasked with driving sales growth within designated routes. The successful candidate will cultivate, sustain, and enhance business, social, and community connections with clients and sales representatives in the specified region to optimize profitability.

- 20% Travel to Client Locations

• Build and nurture collaborative relationships with sales representatives, store managers, and key decision-makers in client organizations.
• Ensure that company drivers are informed of expectations and understand how to align with organizational goals, including providing regular updates and submitting training materials to Human Resources.
• Meet sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service across various accounts.
• Identify potential leads, manage prospects, and secure new business opportunities.
• Visit customer facilities to provide necessary information and support to maintain and grow business relationships.
• Anticipate customer needs, propose suitable solutions to business challenges, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular communication with major retail chain District Managers to support sales and service objectives.
- Develop rapport with key management personnel through consistent visits and communication.
- Create customized sales strategies based on a thorough understanding of specific retail clients and the complete product range to leverage growth opportunities.
- Follow through on sales and service commitments to exceed expectations of store management.
- Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products and pricing.
- Manage leads generated by the company effectively.
- Conduct scheduled and in-person prospecting to establish initial and follow-up meetings with key decision-makers.
- Communicate regularly with the Division Sales Manager regarding sales activities, goal progress, and prospective customer status.
- Periodically assess stores to identify strengths and areas for improvement in service.
• Ensure a minimum of two customer visits per week to negotiate advertising and secure additional space/displays.
• Participate in grand openings and store anniversaries.
• Review weekly Out-of-Stock reports to address any deficiencies promptly.
• Utilize effective time management skills to service stores and establish relationships with all customers, ensuring that major clients have a reliable contact for any issues.
• Develop contingency plans for organizing, rerouting, or running a route as necessary, ensuring that route documentation is well-organized.
• Ensure stores receive adequate service without issuing credits.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including attending required safety meetings and ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors while visiting clients, utilizing a company vehicle.
• Capable of interacting with various customer types within stores, including greeters and back-store receivers.
• Must be able to lift and carry weights ranging from 20 to 40 pounds.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and/or truck at all times.
• Follow all safety measures, including using back support when lifting cases and bending at the knees to organize products as needed.
Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or field-based sales.
• Proficient in basic computer functions, including document downloading, email, internet usage, and Microsoft Word.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor while representing clients.
• Capable of timely communication with management via phone or email.
• Experience with personal access to functional tools such as smartphones or tablets and computers.
• Valid driver's license and full coverage auto insurance; clean driving record required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
