Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Director II Sales - SLED to lead our sales efforts in the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) vertical. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and developing strategic relationships with key customers and partners.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the SLED vertical.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure they meet or exceed their sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their needs and developing solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to develop and execute sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and other sales metrics to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure Lumen remains competitive and innovative in the SLED vertical.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire sales teams to achieve their best.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive business growth.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
