Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director II Sales - SLED to lead our sales efforts in the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) vertical. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the sale of our entire product portfolio, including Cloud, Managed Services, Datacenter, and Voice solutions, to meet revenue targets and achieve maximum profitability.
  • Develop and execute account plans and positioning for strategic accounts in the SLED vertical.
  • Lead a team of 6-8 sales representatives in SLED accounts, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure quota attainment and sales objectives are met.
  • Manage day-to-day sales activity, including funnel management, territory management, and customer-focused sales efforts.
  • Participate in community and industry-related events to develop new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders and other sales channels, to drive sales growth and revenue recognition.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in telecommunications or a technology-based industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and sales performance/tracking programs.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to travel at least 25%.
Preferred Experience
  • 5+ years of telecom or related technology sales experience.
  • Experience in building strategic plans for sales team growth and development, including account and activity planning and development.
  • Experience mentoring, training, and developing high-performance sales teams.
  • Successful completion of the Sales Manager assessment.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, and compensation depends on individual qualifications.

Location-Based Pay Ranges:

$136,440 - $181,920 in Oregon

$142,940 - $190,580 in California and Washington

As with the pay range variety based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
