Engineering Project Coordinator

Your Responsibilities

Collaborating closely with clients to design and implement solutions while leveraging feedback to enhance the delivery of improvements for small to medium complexity projects.
Formulating and evaluating standard procedures, tools, and methodologies while ensuring that engineering tasks adhere to safety standards and contractual obligations.
Establishing and presenting the project plan and budget, along with conducting risk assessments pertinent to your engineering specialty.
Assisting contract managers in submitting claims related to modifications in project scope, including evaluating cost and time implications as well as risk assessments.
Supporting clients in resolving technical challenges both remotely and on-site.
Enhancing your management and communication skills by mentoring junior engineers, technicians, and support personnel.
Upholding and improving client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service throughout all phases of the project.
Willingness to travel approximately up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Preferred 2 or more years of experience in engineering, specifically with Distributed Control Systems.
  • Strong understanding of engineering methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • A commitment to safe work practices and adherence to all relevant workplace safety protocols.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn about emerging technologies.
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
