Position Overview: Lincoln Electric is in search of an Engineering Project Manager to become a vital part of our newly formed Project Management Office (PMO). This role is crucial as we transform our approach to managing capital projects throughout the organization. The Project Manager will be instrumental in defining and overseeing project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Close collaboration with Project Sponsors and stakeholders is essential to ensure that project outcomes are clearly defined, measurable, and successfully achieved within established parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Formulate detailed project plans and timelines. Lead and facilitate projects to ensure adherence to timelines, deliverables, and objectives.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Work alongside engineers, process groups, and project coordinators to efficiently identify, address, and resolve project-related challenges.
  • Project Tools and Communication: Develop and utilize project management tools and visual aids to improve communication and tracking. Ensure effective dissemination of project information to all stakeholders.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among team members and stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to management regarding project status, progress, and any issues or changes. Prepare detailed reports as necessary.
  • Resource Coordination: Oversee and allocate resources to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget. Identify resource needs and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize resource utilization.
  • Scope and Budget Management: Conduct regular analyses of project status. Adjust project scope, schedule, or budget as necessary to meet project requirements and objectives.
  • Support for Company Strategy: Assume additional responsibilities as needed to support the Company's strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; Engineering degree or a BS in Project Management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management, product development, or related fields.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities. Proven ability to lead teams and manage both direct and indirect reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate project needs, successes, and challenges.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
