About the Role

K2M Design Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and support to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects.
  • Act as liaison with Project Management, Architects, other Engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and represent the lead technical viewpoint on projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with Director on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies to drive business growth.
  • Provide developmental support and training to less experienced staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Use technical expertise to resolve conflicting design requirements and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Conduct QA/QC review of deliverables to ensure high-quality output.
  • Prepare reports and client correspondence on assigned projects, maintaining clear and concise communication.
  • Travel for client meetings, consultant coordination, site surveys, construction administration, and other project-related activities (up to 15% of time reserved for travel).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET accredited college or university.
  • 15+ years of experience in the field of AEC Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License, required.
  • Revit proficiency, required.
  • Position only available to candidates residing in EST and CST time zones.
