Position Overview: Lincoln Electric is in search of an Engineering Project Manager to be a pivotal member of our newly formed Project Management Office (PMO). This role is essential in redefining our strategy for managing capital projects across the organization. The Project Manager will be instrumental in shaping and overseeing project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Formulate detailed project plans and timelines. Lead projects to ensure adherence to schedules, deliverables, and objectives.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution: Work closely with engineers, process teams, and project coordinators to identify and efficiently resolve project-related challenges.
  • Project Tools and Communication: Develop and utilize project management tools and visual aids to improve communication and tracking. Ensure that project information is effectively shared with all stakeholders.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Conduct project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among team members and stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to management regarding project status, progress, and any emerging issues or changes. Prepare detailed reports as necessary.
  • Resource Coordination: Oversee and allocate resources to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget. Identify resource requirements and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize resource use.
  • Scope and Budget Management: Regularly assess project status. Modify project scope, schedule, or budget as needed to meet project objectives.
  • Support for Company Strategy: Assume additional responsibilities as required to support the Company's strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; Engineering or Project Management degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management, product development, or related areas.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to lead teams and manage both direct and indirect reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project needs, successes, and challenges.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
