Yoga Garden SF is a community-focused, Yoga Alliance accredited yoga institution with multiple studios in a vibrant neighborhood, where some of the finest yoga instructors conduct various styles of yoga classes.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's marketing initiatives and driving new traffic for yoga memberships and teacher training programs. This position is responsible for managing external communication channels, including website content and design, social media campaigns, and email outreach to attract prospective students and members.

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will work alongside a small team of motivated professionals, all focused on achieving shared objectives. Strong time management skills and flexible working hours are preferred. A genuine passion for yoga and its benefits, along with the ability to foster relationships and build community, is essential.

This part-time position offers competitive compensation and includes a yoga membership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content creation for newsletters and website
  • Managing social media strategy, including regular updates on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
  • Collaborating with graphic designers
  • Assisting with various marketing tasks as they arise
  • Adapting to changing priorities on a daily basis

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Residing in the San Francisco Bay Area at the time of application
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing and social media management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in computing and technology, with a keen interest in new applications
  • Familiarity with online productivity tools (e.g., Google Suite, Asana, Zoho)
  • Proven experience in social media marketing for businesses
  • Innovative and self-motivated, capable of seeing projects through to completion
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Basic graphic design skills for simple projects
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
  • Commitment to accountability and community values
  • A passion for yoga, wellness, and community engagement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Interest in enhancing marketing and sales strategies
  • Public relations skills
  • Experience with Google Ads strategy and campaigns
  • Completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training program

This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and requires immediate filling. Only candidates who meet the specified qualifications and demonstrate a strong work ethic will be considered.
