Position Summary

The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing daily marketing tasks and initiatives. This includes overseeing various marketing functions such as advertising, public relations, direct outreach, event planning, and promotional activities related to the casino and hospitality sectors. The role also involves gathering and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. with five (5) years of relevant experience in marketing and promotions; or a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline with at least one (1) year of experience in marketing and promotions. A combination of education and experience will be considered. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong communication and project management skills are essential.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and obtain a gaming license.
  • Documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States is required.
  • Preference will be given to Osage, Native American, and Veteran applicants.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Key Responsibilities

Communication:
  • Stays informed about company updates and communications through various channels.
  • Effectively conveys concerns and information to supervisors while actively listening to feedback.
  • Proposes ideas for improvements to management in line with established protocols.
  • Manages internal marketing communications and provides timely updates to management teams.
Operational Duties:
  • Assists the Marketing Programming Supervisor in planning promotional events and coordinating marketing functions.
  • Takes charge of implementing all promotions at designated properties.
  • Oversees projects within budgetary limits, providing necessary documentation for variances.
  • Reconciles invoices with job orders and addresses any discrepancies.
  • Handles paperwork for vendor payments through requisitions and disbursements.
  • Maintains knowledge of competitor marketing activities and collects relevant materials.
  • Ensures all advertisements receive necessary approvals before publication.
  • Under supervision, determines entertainment and decor needs for special events within budget constraints.
  • Prepares event proposals and end-of-month reports.
  • Attends events to ensure guest satisfaction and manages setup and teardown processes.
  • Collaborates with marketing staff on partner program events.
  • Contributes to team efforts and achieves related results as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Guest Relations:
  • Delivers exceptional service to both internal and external guests, treating everyone with respect.
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
Compliance:
  • Maintains strong relationships with company staff and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Adheres to company values, policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Capable of performing both routine and complex mathematical calculations.
  • Maintains confidentiality to protect company interests.
  • Works independently and follows instructions effectively.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Communicates ideas and information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Utilizes MS Office software at an intermediate level.
  • Exhibits sound judgment and seeks guidance when necessary.
  • Identifies and addresses potential safety hazards.
  • Responds to inquiries from various stakeholders.
  • May require local travel between properties as needed.
  • Maintains physical fitness to perform job duties effectively.
  • Engages in professional development opportunities to enhance job knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, pushing, or pulling.
  • Must have normal hearing and good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and drag or push up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment:
  • Work is primarily conducted in an office and casino setting.
  • Exposure to second-hand smoke may occur.
  • Evening and weekend shifts may be required.
  • Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high.
  • Travel between properties may be necessary based on business needs.
