POSITION SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Development and Activation

  • Cultivate and maintain impactful relationships within the community to promote company initiatives and the core values of the House of Sport brand.
  • Assist local partners through sponsorships that enhance brand visibility, engagement, and sales.
  • Oversee the management and documentation of all sponsorship agreements and asset distribution using designated software.
  • Ensure the effective execution of sponsorship commitments with leagues, teams, and organizations to optimize return on investment.
  • Design innovative strategies for in-store events and market activations aligned with significant brand moments.
  • Manage local budgets and associated expenditures responsibly.

Local Marketing Initiatives

  • Formulate and implement local marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Provide comprehensive market insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials for in-store displays and event scheduling.
  • Oversee customer engagement through reservation scheduling tools.

Event and Program Management

  • Support the execution of all marketing initiatives, vendor events, and related activities as required.
  • Act as a liaison between House of Sport, CSC, and external partners to ensure exceptional program execution from inception to completion.
  • Capture content from owned events for use across national social media platforms and other owned channels.
  • Assess the effectiveness of events qualitatively and quantitatively, reporting insights and recommending improvements.

Community Engagement and Philanthropy

  • Represent The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation in local community outreach and charitable initiatives.
  • Utilize The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation to positively impact the community through equipment donations, grants, and other support programs.
  • Review and fulfill donation requests from local organizations.

Professional Standards

  • Exhibit professionalism and excellence in all interactions, serving as a brand ambassador for House of Sport.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Build relationships with vendors, sales representatives, and service organizations that partner with our company.
  • Serve as a media-trained representative, capable of engaging with media on behalf of DICK'S as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or Communications.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in regional marketing, brand representation, or retail.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Successful completion of background checks.
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexible work schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with some travel required.
