Job Summary

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Care Coordinator to join our team. As a leading healthcare provider in Oklahoma, Xpress Wellness offers comprehensive urgent care services for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate with leadership in developing, improving, and growing medical care in long-term facilities.
  • Assist in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient data meets company goals.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new tools and resources with the medical care in long-term facilities team.
  • Communicate issues and concerns with the Director and operations team.
  • Work with the RCM team to coordinate the flow of accurate patient information from the clinical team to the billing team.
  • Works with long-term care facilities to correct problems, gain efficiencies, and coordinate the flow of needed information.
  • Assist with credentialing of all providers by assisting with gathering needed information.
  • Respects and acknowledges clients' rights and maintains strict confidentiality in all client matters; Investigates and resolves incidents and issues as required while maintaining HIPAA compliance and associated relevant guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required. Associates or higher preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Electronic Medical Records. Will need to be technically savvy and comfortable using tools such as mobile iPads for charting.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in a medical office or nursing facility preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred.
