Job Overview

The Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust (TAIT) is looking for a dedicated Marketing Intern to support our marketing initiatives at Tulsa International Airport. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in various marketing activities, including campaign support, written communications, advertising, and event management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting and executing marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of events and marketing promotions.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support the marketing team.

Qualifications:

Applicants should be pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 60 credit hours completed. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and graphic design principles.
  • The capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Compensation: This internship is a paid position at a rate of $12 per hour, with a typical work schedule of 40 hours per week during standard office hours. Flexibility in scheduling may be available based on operational needs.

Physical Requirements: Candidates should be able to perform tasks that require manual dexterity for keyboard use, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds, and the ability to engage in various physical activities such as walking, standing, and reaching.

Licenses and Certifications: A valid Oklahoma Driver's License is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.

Work Environment: The role primarily involves indoor work, with occasional outdoor responsibilities, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
