Exciting Opportunity in Marketing

Are you eager to embark on a rewarding journey in the marketing field? The Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern for an engaging role at Tulsa International Airport.

This internship offers a unique chance for a proactive individual to support our marketing department with a variety of responsibilities, including the development of marketing initiatives, crafting written content, managing advertising efforts, and coordinating events.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, participate in meaningful projects, and work up to 40 hours a week during standard business hours, with the possibility of additional hours as needed.

Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of marketing strategies, written communications, and promotional activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of events and marketing initiatives.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, or a related academic program, with at least 60 credit hours completed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Familiarity with social media, digital marketing, and graphic design is advantageous.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Work Schedule: This is a paid internship for the duration of a semester, with a standard workweek of 40 hours from Monday to Friday. Flexibility in scheduling may be required, including early mornings, late evenings, or weekends, to enhance learning opportunities.

Physical Requirements: The role involves using a keyboard, 10-key, and telephone, along with the potential for lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds. Activities may include walking, standing, sitting, reaching, bending, kneeling, handling, climbing, and twisting. Sufficient visual, auditory, and verbal capabilities are necessary to perform essential duties.

Licenses and Certifications: A valid Oklahoma Driver's License is required, along with the ability to meet the criteria for obtaining and maintaining a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.

Work Environment: The position is primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks, even in varying weather conditions.
