Electrical Hardware Engineer

Jobot is in search of an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer to enhance our engineering team. The successful candidate will take charge of designing and developing motor control panels and related systems for automated material handling applications. This role encompasses leading engineering initiatives from concept through to installation and commissioning of control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create electrical hardware components and systems that align with project specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to establish product requirements and system frameworks.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and testing on both new and revised designs.
  • Manage and coordinate production, installation, maintenance, and testing operations to ensure adherence to specifications and customer needs.
  • Review and analyze technical drawings, electrical system specifications, and topographical maps to confirm compliance with standards.
  • Evaluate test data to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.
  • Gather data and compose reports regarding ongoing and prospective engineering projects.
  • Supervise project execution to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Hardware Engineering roles.
  • Proficient in electrical hardware design software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and systems integration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is advantageous.
