  • Support the Plant Engineer and/or Plant Manager with a variety of engineering responsibilities.
  • Supervise the installation of new machinery and the enhancement of existing systems.
  • Manage programming tools including PLC, HMI, and Drive systems.
  • Develop comprehensive schematics for component production.
  • Diagnose and rectify equipment malfunctions that impact manufacturing efficiency.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts for process optimization and resolution of production challenges.

Primary duties encompass:

  • Creating precise schematics.
  • Actively participating in the resolution of electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
  • Expertise in PLC and HMI programming, alongside AC/DC drive design and programming.
  • Familiarity with fundamental computer operations and software applications.
  • Overseeing machinery installations, commissioning, and upgrades.
  • Contributing to the procurement of equipment and services.
  • Offering insights to the maintenance team and external contractors.
  • Complying with safety standards and fostering a safety-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree, associate's degree, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Prior experience in a comparable position is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Robust analytical skills and flexibility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA, NFPA, NEC, EPA, and WDNR.
