Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential for overtime.
Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
Employment Type: Direct Hire Position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation solutions that meet and exceed client expectations in the fluid processing sector.
  • Engage in system architecture, electrical design, and programming of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Participate in projects from inception to completion, which includes:
    • Consulting with clients to ascertain their needs.
    • Translating requirements into standardized, user-friendly PLC and HMI designs.
    • Commissioning systems both in-house and at client locations across the country.
  • Manage fast-paced and complex projects effectively.
  • Enhance personal and team skills within a top-tier engineering environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in PLC programming (familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLC5, SLC, Logix; other platforms are advantageous).
  • Proficiency in HMI design (experience with Wonderware, FactoryTalk View; other platforms are a plus).
  • Understanding of common industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet).
  • Knowledge of low-voltage electrical design and layout (UL 508A panel design knowledge is beneficial).
  • Strong technical writing and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the fluid processing industry or a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with control panel assembly/wiring, installation, and electrical power distribution equipment.
  • Background in motor controls, relays, metering units, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, chart recorders, and other electrical equipment (AC/DC low and medium-voltage; some high voltage applications up to 480VAC 3 Phase).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a Fluke Meter.
  • Solid understanding of instrumentation, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of field equipment.
  • Capability to create electrical drawings using AutoCAD, including panel layouts, pneumatic drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of machinery safety circuits/emergency stop control design and mechanical concepts.
  • Familiarity with electrical conduit runs and wire pull design, including cable trays, cable glands, and disconnect cables.
  • Assist with field start-up and electrical IO checkout.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel for project start-ups as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work during holidays, weekends, or extended hours as required for shutdowns.
