Electrical Hardware Engineer

Jobot is in search of an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineer to enhance our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and development of motor control panels and associated systems for material handling applications. This role encompasses leading engineering initiatives from concept through to design, programming, testing, installation, and commissioning of automated control systems for material handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create electrical hardware components and systems that align with project specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to establish product specifications and system frameworks.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and testing on both new and revised designs.
  • Oversee and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, and testing operations to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and client requirements.
  • Review and analyze technical drawings, electrical system specifications, and topographical maps to guarantee compliance with standards and client expectations.
  • Interpret and analyze test data to troubleshoot design-related issues.
  • Gather data and prepare reports on current and prospective engineering studies and projects.
  • Manage project production activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Hardware Engineering roles.
  • Proficient in electrical hardware design software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes and systems integration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification is advantageous.
