As a Lead Solutions Engineer at Forethought, you will collaborate closely with our Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support teams to assist clients in transforming their Customer Experience workforce with our AI solutions. We seek individuals with a growth-oriented mindset, who are passionate about solving complex challenges and making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to align on client meeting objectives, prioritize opportunities, and provide technical leadership for sales initiatives.
  • Create and deliver tailored demonstrations to clients, ranging from practical users to executive presentations.
  • Present solution proposals, highlighting business benefits, competitive advantages, and how Forethought's offerings can address clients' current and future needs.
  • Lead technical scoping sessions with clients to gather, analyze, clarify, and document business requirements. Provide clients with solution proposals, ROI assessments, Mutual Success Plans, and implementation timelines.
  • Guide clients through proof of concept processes to facilitate their evaluation of Forethought's solutions.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor for client accounts, offering practical insights into the business value of proposed solutions and managing client expectations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and provide guidance to clients on the adoption of AI solutions to enhance the efficiency of existing business processes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Implementation, Engineering, Product, and other Sales Engineering teams to strategize on opportunities, facilitate cross-training, and ensure knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Enterprise Sales Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, AI/ML Engineer, or Big Data Consultant.
  • Proficient in programming languages and tools including Python, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and bash scripting.
  • Experience working with APIs.
  • Background in client-facing roles, ideally in pre-sales or post-sales support.
  • Familiarity with concepts and technologies related to large-scale machine learning infrastructures.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning and/or Natural Language Processing concepts and applications.
  • Solid grasp of the software/SaaS sales cycle and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: Experience with Helpdesk technologies such as Zendesk, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.
