Position Overview

The Lead Infrastructure Solutions Engineer is accountable for the upkeep of deployed infrastructure technologies and the setup and configuration of these systems within designated areas. This role encompasses responsibilities such as infrastructure as code, programming, scripting languages, multi-cloud environments, systems engineering, and software development. The engineer will create design and functional specifications, deliver project-related outputs, and provide support for post-implementation and system enhancements, involving platforms and systems like Powermax, Symmetrix, PowerPath, Brocade, SRDF, Pure, Azure, AWS, API, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement on-premises and cloud-based systems for data communication, sharing, storage, and backup, including big data analytics.
  • Provision, manage, monitor, and decommission services, automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure in a distributed environment through scripting.
  • Engage in the configuration and maintenance of both physical and logical network components.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Five to six years of relevant industry experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Extensive knowledge in SAN Storage System architecture and administration.
  • Experience with NAS and backup storage solutions (Netapp, ECS, Cohesity, Networker, Data Domain).
  • Familiarity with EMC Symmetrix, PowerPath, Brocade, SRDF, and Pure Storage is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in SAN Storage Migrations (Dell to Dell and Dell to Pure), including SAN product incident support, setup, provisioning, and upgrades.
  • Proficient in Python, Ansible, API, and various scripting languages, along with cloud migration experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities for troubleshooting failures, performance issues, and capacity anomalies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other technical professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, with an expectation of in-office work for three or more days each week, while allowing flexibility for remote work on other days.
