Cloud Solutions Engineer

Job Overview:

As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cloud-based architectures that cater to diverse business needs. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud services and data management practices to ensure robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Architecture: Develop and execute cloud architectures on AWS for various applications, including web services and data analytics. Utilize AWS offerings such as EC2, Lambda, and S3 to create effective solutions.
  • Data Architecture: Architect and implement data solutions on AWS, leveraging services like Athena and Glue to streamline data processing and governance.
  • IT Solution Architecture: Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design and document architectural frameworks for new IT solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, data architecture, or related fields.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and database design.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is advantageous.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python or Java.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code.
  • Understanding of data integration and ETL/ELT processes.
