This position is fully remote within the United States.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and enhance sophisticated software systems.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of business processes and system functionalities.

  • Conduct requirements analysis, design documentation, and peer evaluations.
  • Provide accurate effort estimations and identify potential risks.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in .NET and C# programming.
  • Strong relational database management skills, including SQL, stored procedures, and database design (MSSQL 2008 or newer).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL technologies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience with .NET and C# technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server 2008 or higher.
  • Experience with Angular or MVC frameworks is required.
  • Knowledge of cloud development practices is advantageous.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus.

COMPENSATION:

CorVel employs a market-based compensation strategy, and salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and other factors. Our pay structure considers federal, state, and local wage requirements, job-related skills, experience, and market conditions. Adjustments to salary ranges may occur as needed.

For roles with varying levels (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.), new hires may be assigned to a different level based on their qualifications and interview assessments. This may influence the salary range, which will be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $67,086 – $111,634
