Responsibilities of the Lead Hydraulic Systems Engineer include:

  • Designing hydraulic schematics using AutoCAD.
  • Proficiently interpreting all elements of mechanical and hydraulic design documentation.
  • Creating 3D equipment layout drawings in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Mentoring team members and shop technicians.
  • Analyzing mechanical and hydraulic design drawings for electrical specifications.
  • Generating bills of materials.
  • Conducting troubleshooting, field testing, and installation.
  • Preparing submittals, training manuals, and operation & maintenance documentation.
  • Reviewing project specifications to ensure alignment with client requirements.

We seek a Lead Hydraulic Systems Engineer with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Industrial Hydraulic design.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fluid Power and Industrial Controls.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
  • Capability to read and modify PLC, HMI, and Valve Controller programs.
  • Strong prioritization, multitasking, and deadline management skills.
  • Familiarity with UL508A and NFPA 79 standards.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to interface with shop technicians and provide necessary support.
