We are currently looking for a Cybersecurity-focused Senior Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. Our engineers are crucial to our clients' success and our overall business objectives. This role is part of a talented group of Engineers and Architects who collaborate with clients as trusted advisors. The Senior Solutions Engineer will deliver both pre-sales and post-sales consultation, design, and implementation support.

Our Senior Solutions Engineers come from diverse backgrounds, typically possessing a blend of engineering experience, technical proficiency across various technologies, and the ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of our clients' needs. This position will also involve mentoring junior engineers and assisting in the creation of bills of materials, statements of work, and technical proposal components. Responsibilities include:
  • Effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborating with Solutions Architects to develop and assess system designs.
  • Working alongside clients on solution designs and implementations.
  • Maintaining expert-level certifications in relevant technical areas.
  • Engaging with Solutions Engineers on key strategic accounts.
  • Providing pre-sales designs and mentoring during post-sales implementations.
  • Establishing deployment standards for CompuNet's diverse clientele and ensuring these standards are reflected in Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Assisting Engineering Directors and Managers in identifying professional services opportunities and recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborating with Engineering Directors and Managers to validate project scopes.
  • Supporting the development of bills of materials, statements of work, and technical proposal components.
  • Performing other assigned duties as necessary.

Experience with a combination of advanced on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies, along with strategic business insight, is essential.

Successful candidates will have prior experience in delivering consulting engagements, managing client expectations, and a broad understanding of many of the following concepts, with advanced to expert proficiency in at least one:

Our ideal candidate will also possess the following qualifications:
  • Expertise in designing, deploying, and delivering enterprise security solutions.
  • Strong skills in technical project management and documentation.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to mentor and onboard new engineers.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred expert-level certifications.
  • A Bachelor's degree and/or relevant industry certifications are preferred.
