Position Overview
The HITRUST Risk & Controls Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory, industry, and client security standards within the IT department at Prime Therapeutics. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of our Security Governance Risk and Compliance program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and disseminate organization-wide security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct testing and gather evidence to confirm that controls are effectively designed and functioning, ensuring compliance with HITRUST, SOC 2, HIPAA, and contractual obligations.
  • Collect and analyze metrics to monitor risk and compliance status, assist in conducting vendor and system security risk assessments, and prepare responses to client RFPs and assessment inquiries.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to facilitate audit testing and track remediation efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical field such as Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Security, Information Technology, or Risk Management.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications
  • Proficient in conducting meetings and delivering presentations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance topics.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, SOC1, SOC2, HITRUST, NIST).
  • Foundational knowledge of security solutions and controls.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in generating metrics reports and crafting communications.
  • Background in a regulated industry, particularly healthcare.

Physical Job Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Frequent sitting, use of hands, talking, and hearing.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.

Reporting Structure
This position reports to a Lead or Manager within the Information Technology department.

Compensation
The potential salary for this role ranges from $68,000 to $102,700, based on experience and skills, with variations depending on location.
