Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the organization, focusing on budget management, financial reporting, and strategic planning. This position is integral to ensuring the financial health and sustainability of various departments within the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.

- Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and institutional policies.

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

- Provide training and support to staff on financial management practices and tools.

- Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or budgeting is preferred.

Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and database management.

Strong skills in spreadsheet software, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial reporting tools.

Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
