Position Overview
This role is pivotal in overseeing the operations within the designated geographic area, specifically focusing on the South Puget Sound region. The individual will provide essential leadership, establish clear expectations, and offer strategic direction to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives, managing revenue streams under $20 million.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate in the development and execution of a strategic plan that fosters business growth and aligns with corporate objectives.
2. Prepare and deliver timely financial forecasts, budgets, and projections to ensure accurate financial planning.
3. Serve as a role model for employees, promoting adherence to core values and ethical business practices.
4. Implement and uphold the company’s safety protocols, striving for a zero-accident environment.
5. Mentor and develop area employees, ensuring they receive the necessary training and opportunities for professional growth.
6. Engage in performance management to cultivate high-performing teams.
7. Work closely with functional leadership to establish best practices and ensure personnel meet the highest standards.
8. Participate in bid reviews for significant projects, ensuring accuracy in estimates and risk assessments.
9. Advocate for growth initiatives, including market analysis and acquisition opportunities that align with strategic goals.
10. Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in heavy civil construction.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in construction operations, with a solid understanding of company policies and industry standards.
- Proficient in estimating various construction operations, including earthwork and concrete.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential for success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
