Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and enhance the operational performance of all assigned properties to meet financial goals.
  2. Evaluate employee performance and collaborate with Human Resources to optimize team effectiveness.
  3. Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures at all community levels.
  4. Assist Community Managers in formulating annual budgets and strategic plans.
  5. Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess physical and operational standards.
  6. Lead recruitment efforts for community managers and maintenance personnel, ensuring proper onboarding.
  7. Facilitate audits and compliance checks by relevant authorities.
  8. Act as the primary liaison for portfolio-related matters with senior management and ownership.
  9. Monitor financial reports and operational metrics, providing insights for improvement.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for candidates holding advanced degrees.
  • Over five years of experience in property management, specifically in a regional capacity.
  • Expertise in managing Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD properties.
  • Strong knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.

Physical and Technical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential, along with familiarity with property management software.
