Overview: The following responsibilities provide an overview of the key functions associated with the Healthcare Operations Manager role. These responsibilities may evolve as the organization expands, and it is the Manager's duty to ensure all tasks are completed as assigned for the efficient operation of the department.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Oversee communication and organization of staff, including daily scheduling, approval of time off, expense management, and coordination of holiday rotations.
  • Effectively triage additional cases and devise coverage plans irrespective of location and timing.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Articulate organizational values, strategies, and objectives; assign responsibilities; monitor and evaluate job performance; and foster a culture of open communication and educational growth.
  • Support the administrative team with scheduling, asset management, and credentialing processes.
  • Ensure quality service delivery by establishing and upholding organizational standards.
  • Facilitate the coordination and execution of annual competencies, continuing education, and clinical rotations for students.
  • Implement and reinforce quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Monitor team compliance with credentialing standards and regulatory protocols.
  • Engage in strategic planning with the management team, including roles such as Education Coordinator and Quality Director.
  • Review policies and procedures to recommend enhancements for improved effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Actively participate in resolving issues that affect relationships with referring practices and facilities.
Business Development:
  • Identify and implement strategies for business growth through organic initiatives, facility acquisitions, and expanding service offerings.
  • Analyze market trends, generate innovative ideas, and execute initiatives to enhance competitive advantage.
Leadership:
  • Provide visionary leadership by collaborating with the Executive team to develop long-term and annual objectives, while continuously evaluating progress.
  • Formulate strategic plans by assessing technological and financial opportunities and making informed recommendations.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation by partnering with stakeholders, community organizations, and employees, while promoting ethical business practices.
Minimum Qualifications: CNIM certification and a minimum of 5 years of IONM experience post-training.

Education: Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited Electroneurodiagnostic program or an associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct IONM studies in accordance with national standards and protocols.
Participate in on-call duties as assigned and respond to emergency situations.
Cross-train in various modalities and regions as required.
Engage in training and competency assessments.
Provide support to other regions as necessary.
Assist in mentoring and training initiatives.
Contribute to the Quality Assurance program.
Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the organization.
