Role Overview

Pilot Flying J is in search of a seasoned Retail Operations Manager to lead our bustling retail facilities. This role involves the creation and implementation of business strategies for travel centers and dining establishments to meet established standards, sales targets, and customer satisfaction goals.

The Retail Operations Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Conducting regular meetings with team members
  • Maintaining strong vendor partnerships

In this position, you will have the opportunity to build, mentor, and manage teams, focusing on staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training.

  • Monitoring inventory levels
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Conducting profit and loss analysis

Compensation starts at: $67,000 - $80,700 annually.

Candidate Qualifications

As a Retail Operations Manager, you should embody integrity and accountability at the managerial level while demonstrating outstanding leadership skills. A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Additional qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of management experience in retail, dining, grocery, or related service industries with financial responsibility
  • Proven management experience in high-volume retail with profit and loss accountability
