Compensation ranges from $19 to $21 per hour.

Responsibilities

Team Rehabilitation is in search of a personable and dynamic individual to serve as the vital first point of contact within our clinic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy towards patient conditions and possess a willingness to assist, accommodate, and support patients in their therapeutic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients warmly and verify appointments while assisting with necessary paperwork.
  • Facilitate comprehensive communication among patients, healthcare providers, and staff, including follow-up actions.
  • Manage complex scheduling to ensure patients receive the appropriate number of visits, coordinating with therapists as needed.
  • Assist patients with inquiries related to insurance, explaining benefits and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical and billing system, including updates and billing changes.
  • Collect copayments and process transactions in a timely and professional manner, issuing receipts as necessary.
  • Input data from in-house research accurately, contributing to clinic performance assessments.
  • Support clinic operations by preparing management information and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment.
  • Uphold patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies.

Additional Duties:
The Patient Administrative Coordinator must excel in multitasking within a fast-paced environment while managing daily reports and responsibilities. This role reports to the clinic director and may involve additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a patient-centered healthcare role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Background in customer service or related fields is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills is required.
